West Ranch’s Clewis earns Player of the Year Honors among all-league selections

The Foothill League has announced that West Ranch senior setter Dani Clewis is the girls’ volleyball player of the year following the Wildcats’ run to the California Interscholastic Federation state playoffs. Player of the Year: Dani Clewis, senior, West Ranch. Clewis, who holds the all-time career records in assists, blocks and aces at West Ranch High School, finished the 2025 season with 83 blocks, 63 serving aces, and 976 assists throughout the year. The senior also led the Wildcats to a historic season for the program as West Ranch finished as the Southern Section Division 2 finalist and Foothill League champions as the team went undefeated in league play. In addition, the Foothill League also recognized the following players with all-league honors: 1st Team: • Parys Taylor, senior, Canyon. • Claudia Martinez, senior, Castaic. • Taylor Stires, senior, Saugus. • Kimora Hogains, junior, Saugus. • Nyla Wilstead, sophomore, Valencia. • Devyn Kobe, sophomore, West Ranch. • Grace Kelley, senior, West Ranch. • Jesselle Alfar, freshman, Canyon. • Arielle Greene, senior, Castaic. • Valerie Mejia, sophomore, Saugus. • Chasiah Omoregie, freshman, Saugus. • Karleigh Larson, junior, West Ranch. • Lexi Seres, senior, West Ranch.
