**Saif Ali Khan Opens Up About Terrifying Stabbing Incident at His Bandra Home**

Saif Ali Khan recently recounted the harrowing stabbing incident that took place at his Bandra residence earlier this year. Speaking on the Prime Video show *Two Much* with Kajol and Twinkle, alongside superstar Akshay Kumar, Khan revealed the chilling details of the attack.

“I barged into Jeh’s room. I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife,” Khan recalled. “I jumped on him and we started fighting, and he just started slashing all over me.”

### Family’s Reaction

The attack was witnessed by Khan’s elder son, Taimur, who was upstairs at the time. Khan shared, “Taimur looked at me upstairs, and he said, ‘Oh my God! Are you going to die?’ And I said, ‘No, I don’t think so. But I’ve got a pain in the back. I’m not going to die, I’m fine.’”

Khan sustained a total of six stab wounds, including one near his spinal cord that required immediate surgery.

### Reflecting on Life Amidst the Ordeal

Speaking to *Esquire India* about the incident, Khan reflected on his life as he lay injured. “It could have been the adrenaline, but I remember thinking life has been colorful and I’ve been privileged to be in many places—not just in terms of money, because so many people have much more money. When I think of that rarefied atmosphere of Winchester, of all my travels with loved ones, the wine, my wife, my children…,” he shared.

### Arrest and Charges

The accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, was arrested a few days after the attack. He has been charged with breaking into Khan’s home with intent to rob and attacking the actor and a staff member with a wooden weapon and a blade.
