**Indore Truck Accident Deemed a “Conspiracy” by BJP MLA Usha Thakur**

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): BJP MLA and former minister Usha Thakur has described the tragic Indore truck accident as a “conspiracy” and demanded the strictest possible punishment for those responsible.

The accident occurred on Monday evening on Airport Road between Kalani Nagar and Bada Ganpati Square. A speeding truck collided with multiple vehicles, resulting in three deaths and leaving nearly a dozen people injured.

Addressing the incident, Thakur said, “How can someone be so cruel and careless? A man was trapped in a car, the vehicle was burning, and the driver was unconscious. Sometimes one wonders if this is a well-planned conspiracy. Such incidents have happened eight to nine times globally.”

Thakur also criticized the sections of law cited in the FIR, calling them too lenient given the gravity of the crime. She announced her intention to appeal to the Chief Minister and the Additional Chief Secretary (Home) to ensure stronger legal action is taken.

“The truck driver and owner should be given the death penalty. An FIR must also be filed against the owner,” she insisted.

Furthermore, the former minister emphasized the urgent need to revoke licenses of drivers with criminal backgrounds or records of drug abuse, labeling them as “walking messengers of death.”
