MANILA, Philippines — University of the Philippines extended its winning streak to four games after narrowly defeating Far Eastern University, 69-66, in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Sunday at the Quadricentennial Pavilion.

Gani Stevens played a pivotal role for the Fighting Maroons, finishing the game with 14 points and nine rebounds. He also sank a crucial short-range shot that helped seal the victory for UP.
