Tom Brady retired from the NFL in February 2023, closing a remarkable chapter on one of the most celebrated careers in football history. However, the iconic quarterback is set to return to the field in March 2026 for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Saudi Arabia during Riyadh Season.

Brady, who played 20 years with the New England Patriots and three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, shared a message on his Instagram story expressing his eagerness to return to competitive play.

Throughout his illustrious career, Brady achieved a remarkable 70% win rate (110-25-1) and secured seven Super Bowl titles—six with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers—retiring as the player with the most Super Bowl rings in NFL history.

In September, Brady revealed that he was looking forward to competing again, something he hadn’t done often since retiring. “It felt like the perfect time for me to hit the field again and get my competitive juices flowing,” he said.

Brady recently participated in and won the Fanatics Games held in New York in June, earning $1 million for finishing first at the event. Since retiring, he has transitioned into a broadcasting role, joining Fox as an analyst. He is currently in his second year with the network.

In addition to his flag football comeback, Brady will also be in the announcers’ booth for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions Week 9 game at Ford Field on Sunday during the 2025 NFL season. Brady will handle the analysis while Kevin Burkhardt will serve as the play-by-play commentator on Fox.

Although Brady’s move into broadcasting has drawn mixed reviews, with some critics questioning whether he should be calling NFL games given his part-ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, his football expertise remains undeniable.

Fans will no doubt be eager to see how Brady performs both on the field in Saudi Arabia and in the broadcast booth during the upcoming NFL season.
