As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the AQI of Mumbai on Sunday, October 12 was 153 (Moderate), which on Thursday, October 9 was 94 (Satisfactory). With the decrease in moisture in the weather and no rainfall for more than 48 hours, the India Meteorological Department declared withdrawal of monsoon over Mumbai and parts of Maharashtra on Friday, October 10.
