Sitting at 14 inches tall and made up of more than 1,400 Lego pieces, a custom sock monkey creation is capturing attention.

The 20-year-old creator, Nathan Lilliebridge from Lake in the Hills, hopes to turn his impressive build into an official Lego set.

Nathan aims to have the toy company recognize his unique design and make it available for purchase by Lego enthusiasts everywhere.
