Apex police arrested a sex offender on Monday who is accused of being on the campus of a Catholic school.

Louis Olszyk, 58, is charged with being a sex offender unlawfully on child premises. According to the arrest warrant, Olszyk is an active sex offender.

The warrant states that Olszyk is accused of attempting to enter St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School on October 24 during school hours while students were present.
