**New Recruitment for Junior Engineer Class-3 Posts in Pune Municipal Corporation to Begin Soon**

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is set to commence the recruitment process for the vacant posts of Junior Engineer Class-3 shortly. All necessary preparations for this recruitment have been completed, paving the way for candidates to apply soon.

Earlier, the PMC had announced a delay in publishing the recruitment advertisement due to technical reasons. This time, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has been entrusted with conducting the examination to ensure a smooth and transparent process.

A total of 27,879 candidates had applied for the earlier recruitment notification. However, some candidates were found ineligible due to exceeding the age limit. In a significant development, the state government has now allowed these candidates to reapply for the posts, providing a fresh opportunity for all interested candidates.

In addition to this, candidates were given the chance to correct their caste category details. The administration provided a window until September 12 for candidates to update their social or parallel reservation category. Initially, this deadline was August 30 but was later extended to accommodate more applicants. According to PMC, 4,499 candidates took advantage of this opportunity.

The PMC administration has confirmed that the official recruitment advertisement will be published next week. Following this, the application process will begin, with complete online facilities made available to candidates for hassle-free submission.

Emphasizing transparency, the PMC stated that recruitment will be strictly based on candidates’ qualifications. Measures have been introduced to eliminate technical glitches during the examination process to ensure timely completion of recruitment.
