FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Evan Stewart will not be returning for No. 5 Oregon in the Orange Bowl. The injured Ducks receiver, who has missed the entire season due to a torn meniscus, is officially out for Thursday’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal against No. 4 Texas Tech at Hard Rock Stadium.

Stewart was listed as a game-time decision last week against James Madison. Although he went through pregame warmups, he changed into street clothes and did not play. He also did not practice on Saturday in Eugene.

Safety Trey McNutt (leg) is listed as questionable for the game. Like Stewart, McNutt was also a game-time decision against JMU but has not played this season.

Running back Jordon Davison, who left last week’s game against James Madison with an apparent lower-body injury and practiced on Saturday, is not listed for the upcoming game.

All seven other Oregon players designated as out have either suffered season-ending injuries or announced their intent to transfer.
