Oppo Find N6 leaks even harder: inspiring leaks talk of a thinner chassis, if that’s possible at all

The foldables realm is calm right now, but that’s about to change with the upcoming release of the Oppo Find N6. Could it be even thinner than the 4.2 mm of its predecessor? Probably.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is about eight months away (it could drop in July 2026), the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has long been unveiled, while the iPhone Fold (that’s not an official moniker) is nowhere near on the horizon. Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Oppo Find N5 are regarded as the very best one can get in the (book-style) foldable form factor.
### First Impressions of the Oppo Find N5
I recently had some hands-on experience with the Oppo Find N5, and I must say I’m blown away by its wasp-waisted chassis. Oddly enough, it doesn’t feel fragile at all, which is expected given Oppo’s reputation for build quality.
The Find N5 is the thinnest foldable Oppo has made so far and is tough as nails—it even swings a 45-pound kettlebell for us! Given that its frame is only slightly thicker than the USB-C port itself, it’s hard to imagine how the next Oppo foldable, the Find N6, will manage to beat that and come in under 4.2 mm when unfolded. But that’s apparently going to happen.
### What We Know About the Oppo Find N6
According to a reputable leak from Digital Chat Station, the inner screen of the Find N6 is expected to grow to over 8.1 inches diagonally, while the outer display could be a larger 6.6 inches. This means the Find N6 could be overall larger than the Find N5.
On the inside, the Find N6 is rumored to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, promising extreme speeds and top-notch performance. The battery could top 6,000 mAh, although the exact numbers haven’t been specified. Regardless, this capacity would be a significant upgrade over the Find N5’s 5,600 mAh cell.
### Camera and Features
The main camera might use a large 1/1.4″ Sony LYT808 sensor—a true upgrade over the smaller 1/1.56″ sensor found in the Find N5. Additionally, the Find N6 is expected to sport a 50MP periscope lens with 3.x zoom (possibly 3.5x or 3.7x) and may include a multispectral sensor for enhanced color accuracy.
Other anticipated features include wireless charging, customizable buttons, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The tipster also mentioned that the Find N6 will be “even thinner and lighter,” presumably compared to the Find N5.
### Final Thoughts
The Find N6 won’t be cheap, but it’s amazing to think we could soon get an extremely thin foldable with such impressive internals and externals. The combination of a great camera, large and bright displays, durable build, top-tier chipset, and huge battery makes it a compelling option.
If the rumored specs hold true, the Oppo Find N6 could arrive within the first three months of 2026.
Will the Find N6 outdo the Find N5?
– Easily.
– Maybe, but let’s wait for more leaks.
– Probably not by much.
