A Miami woman allegedly drugged several men she met at bars and robbed them of thousands of dollars and pricey luxury goods while they were passed out, according to reports and authorities.

Sarah Tavano, 39, faces 10 criminal charges in four separate cases stemming from the burglary scheme, Local10 News reported. Originally from Massachusetts, Tavano allegedly swindled the men after gaining their trust “under the pretense of consensual activity,” police wrote in an arrest report obtained by the outlet.

Cops arrested Tavano on Sunday at Sugar, a rooftop bar in downtown Miami, where they discovered a baggie containing white powder, a plastic cup with four pills, and a bottle of Jägermeister with an unknown powder inside. According to a detective, Tavano allegedly told police that the “liquid inside the green bottle contained MDMA.”

Miami prosecutors filed four cases against Tavano on Monday. Three of these cases include surveillance video, a fingerprint match, and a confession, the outlet reported, citing police incident reports.

The first incident took place on October 26, when a man told police that a woman he met at a bar the day before had possibly stolen his keys. “He does not remember inviting her into his apartment,” a police officer wrote in an arrest report obtained by Local10 News. Upon waking, the man realized that over $50,000 worth of designer gold and diamond jewelry, suitcases, handbags, and wallets belonging to his fiancé had vanished from his condo.

A fingerprint on a brown watch case matched Tavano, who allegedly confessed that the clothes she changed into were stolen, along with the suitcases filled with more than 20 luxury bags, according to documents.

In a separate incident on December 11, police met a man at a hotel who reported that over $34,000 had been stolen from him through unauthorized bank and cryptocurrency transactions after his cellphone and wallet disappeared following a meeting with a woman at a bar the previous night. “The victim reported experiencing a severe blackout, falling unconscious,” police officers said.

Just two days later, on December 13, another man reported to police that a woman approached him at a bar the night before, and he later allowed her into his hotel room. After consuming a drink, he began to feel ill, experiencing sudden nausea, weakness, and dizziness before losing consciousness. The man “reported blacking out,” a police officer noted.

When he woke up, the woman had disappeared along with his $38,000 Rolex watch and $1,500 in cash, police said. The man eventually suspected the woman had drugged him after experiencing prolonged symptoms of nausea, extreme weakness, dizziness, and vomiting that persisted for approximately one week after the incident, an officer explained.

After reviewing surveillance footage, a detective stated, “I immediately recognized whom I suspected from two prior investigations,” according to court documents.

For the October 26 case, Tavano was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and second-degree grand theft. For the December 11 incident, she faces charges of organized fraud and third-degree grand theft. She was also charged with strong-armed robbery, organized fraud, and second-degree fraud related to the alleged drugging and burglary on December 13.

Tavano was arrested on Sunday on additional charges of food or water poisoning, cocaine possession, and possession of a controlled substance, Local10 News reported.

Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Michelle Delancy is set to preside over all four cases, ordering Tavano’s total bond at $55,000.
