MANILA, Philippines — Megaworld Corp. plans to buy back up to P2 billion worth of its shares in an effort to increase the value of its stock. This move comes as the company continues to focus on expanding its township developments, which remain its primary source of income.

In a regulatory filing released on Thursday, the developer led by billionaire Andrew Tan announced that its board of directors approved the share buyback program. The initiative aims to support the company’s growth strategy and strengthen shareholder value amid ongoing expansion efforts.
