Marvel Rivals Update Brings New Skins, Free Cosmetics, and Fixes

NetEase released a new update for Marvel Rivals on Thursday morning, bringing a variety of exciting additions alongside important bug fixes and optimizations.
### New Cosmetics Available
This update introduces a couple of new cosmetic bundles that players can look forward to. Thor is getting the **Lightning Fast** bundle, while Squirrel Girl’s bundle is named **Turbo Tailwind**. These skins will be available for purchase in the in-game store starting Friday at 2 AM UTC. Note that these are limited-time cosmetics and will be removed from the shop on November 14.
In addition to these paid items, NetEase has also released new free cosmetics in the form of a spray and an emoji. These are part of new Twitch Drops that players can unlock simply by watching Marvel Rivals streams with Drops enabled. The Drops will be available until November 13, so make sure to tune in and claim yours!
### No Downtime and Focus on Improvements
Given the relatively small size of this update, NetEase rolled it out without any downtime. The main focus this week is on fixing bugs and improving game performance alongside the new cosmetics.
### New Features and Optimizations
The update also brings several new features to enhance the gameplay experience:
– **Voice-Changing System:** Players can now change their voices directly from the game settings, adding a fun new layer of customization.
– **Bots Costume Change:** Bots in Custom Games are now able to switch costumes, making for more dynamic matches.
– **Custom Game Map Selection:** Game hosts can set up map selection rules in Custom Games, allowing for better control over match environments.
### Bug Fixes
Several important bug fixes were included to improve character visuals and game stability:
– **Mantis’ Summer Skin:** Fixed an issue that caused the skin to lose its semi-transparent look.
– **Daredevil Detection Range:** Daredevil will no longer detect Mantis’ summer outfit from beyond his usual range.
– **Duelist Performance:** The new Duelist character will no longer cause performance issues related to his Radar Sense ability.
### What’s Next?
Looking ahead, the Season 4.5 roadmap indicates that more content is on the horizon, including the addition of a new game mode expected next week.
