We’re up at 8am Monday morning, off to London to see who we do play in the Ally Pally and then it’s home.” Aspinall was disappointed to lose the Final, but the superb run in Minehead saw him hit a key landmark of his own ahead of the Worlds. He explained: “A fantastic weekend for myself to make the Final. I’m back in the top 16 and that was a big target. “I don’t know how this guy [Littler] has the energy. Well I do, he’s 18, I’m 34! I congratulate Luke, the guy is incredible. He’s a good mate of mine and what he’s done for this game is incredible. I was happy to share that stage with him. I know he beat me, but we move on and I’m in the top 16 now, where I belong.”.
