Korea-Japan Series ‘Merry Berry Love’ Set At Disney+, Stars Ji Chang-Wook & Mio Imada — APAC Showcase
Disney+ has unveiled a new Korea-Japan series titled *Merry Berry Love* (working title), starring Ji Chang-wook (*The Manipulated*) and Mio Imada (*Tokyo Revengers*). This romantic comedy follows the story of Lee Yubin, a down-on-luck Korean spatial designer played by Ji Chang-wook, and Karin Shirahama, a strawberry farmer portrayed by Mio Imada. Together, they find love on a remote Japanese island.
Set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, *Merry Berry Love* is developed and produced by CJ ENM, with Japan’s Nippon TV joining as a co-producer. The series is currently being filmed across locations in both Korea and Japan.
The show is directed by Kim Soojung (*Semantic Error*) and written by Lee Jaeyoon (*Divorce Insurance*), promising a heartwarming and charming romantic comedy for audiences across Asia and beyond.
