SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Two of Laney College Athletic Director John Beam’s former players, who currently play in the NFL, are reacting to the recent shooting at the Oakland school.

Beam is pictured here with brothers Nahshon and Rejzohn Wright, both former players at Laney College.

Beam shared this photo on social media four weeks ago, during a trip to watch the brothers face off as Nahshon’s Chicago Bears played against Rejzohn’s New Orleans Saints.

On Thursday, Nahshon re-posted the photo in support of Coach Beam. Meanwhile, Rejzohn shared a picture with Beam, writing, “You mean the world to me.”

This heartfelt response highlights the strong bond between the Athletic Director and his former players amidst a difficult time for the Laney College community.
