The highly anticipated exhibition boxing match between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis, originally scheduled for November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, will no longer take place. Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) confirmed the cancellation on Monday, putting an end to the planned Netflix event.

Despite this setback, MVP revealed plans to organize a different Paul-headlined event on Netflix to wrap up 2025. The promotion’s co-founder, Nakisa Bidarian, released a statement addressing the situation:

“Our team has worked closely with all parties to navigate this situation responsibly. While we will not be moving forward with this event, our plan still remains for Jake Paul to headline an event on Netflix in 2025. Details regarding a new date, location, Jake’s opponent, and additional bouts will be shared as soon as they are finalized. We thank Netflix, the Kaseya Center, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for their partnership.”

The cancellation follows widespread speculation and criticism surrounding Davis’ involvement, particularly after new domestic violence allegations surfaced against him this past week.

Courtney Rossel, Davis’ ex-girlfriend, has accused him of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. According to Rossel, an incident occurred on October 27 at Tootsies, a strip club, where Davis allegedly attacked her in a back room before dragging her through a back exit and assaulting her in the parking garage.

Rossel also claims she endured multiple instances of domestic violence during their five-month relationship prior to this event.

This is not the first time Davis has faced domestic violence allegations. Previously, he was charged with striking an ex-girlfriend on the back of the head and slapping her during a dispute on Father’s Day. However, that case was dropped after the accuser declined to prosecute.
