**Intentional Explosion at Harvard Medical Building Under Investigation**

Police are investigating an intentional explosion that occurred early Saturday morning at a Harvard University medical building.

At 2:48 a.m., a fire alarm was triggered at the Goldenson Building, which is part of Harvard’s medical campus in Boston. A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer who responded to the call reported seeing two unidentified individuals fleeing the building, according to a statement from Harvard police.

The explosion took place on the fourth floor of the building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

An initial assessment by the Boston Fire Department’s arson unit indicated that the explosion appeared to be intentional. The Boston Police Department also responded promptly and conducted a thorough sweep of the building for any additional devices, but none were found.

Later on Saturday evening, Harvard University released surveillance photos showing two individuals captured on CCTV footage near the scene. One individual was wearing a balaclava, while the other wore a hoodie with the hood up and a face covering. The university has asked the public for assistance in identifying these individuals.

The investigation is being led by the Harvard University Police Department in collaboration with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The FBI is currently on-site and actively assisting with the inquiry.

Authorities continue to urge anyone with information to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation.
