**Mobile Phones Stolen from Courier Vehicle in Lasudia Area, Indore**

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a daring theft, around 70 mobile phones were stolen from a moving courier vehicle in the Lasudia police station area on Saturday. According to police reports, unidentified miscreants jumped off the vehicle carrying multiple boxes of mobiles near Bombay Hospital and fled the scene.

The complainant, Hitesh Singh Chauhan, informed the police that the driver, Arbaaz, was transporting parcels of mobiles and medicines for Origin Courier, Scheme No. 114, destined for Nayapura Patthar Godown. A passerby alerted Arbaaz that someone had jumped from the moving vehicle. Upon checking, Arbaaz discovered that seven out of 28 boxes, containing nearly 70 mobile phones, were missing.

Police have registered a case and are currently scanning CCTV footage to identify and trace the accused.

**Valuables Stolen from Transporter’s House in Lasudia Area**

In a separate incident, thieves decamped with valuables worth lakhs from the house of a transporter in the Lasudia police station area during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

The house owner had gone to visit his son’s house along with his wife to attend to his daughter-in-law, who was unwell. On returning home on Sunday morning, he found the house ransacked and valuables missing, including gold and silver ornaments as well as cash.

Bhupendra Singh Chauhan, son of the house owner, explained that his father, Rakesh Singh Chauhan—a transporter—resides separately with his mother in Scheme No. 78. On Saturday morning, his parents visited his wife in Gulab Bagh Colony due to her illness. Upon their return the next morning, the house was found in disarray.

The missing items include approximately 30 grams of gold, 250 grams of silver, and Rs 2.5 lakh in cash. The thieves also cut the DVR wire to evade CCTV footage.

The police are investigating both cases and taking necessary actions to apprehend the culprits.
