**Human Remains Found in Search for Missing Philadelphia Woman Kada Scott**

Philadelphia police are seeking tips regarding the whereabouts of Kada Scott, a 23-year-old local health care worker who went missing on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Human remains of a woman were discovered in a wooded area behind the abandoned Ada H. Lewis Middle School near the Awbury Arboretum, according to police sources speaking to NBC10. The remains appeared to be about a week old or less.

Authorities have been conducting searches since Saturday, October 18, near the abandoned school as part of the ongoing effort to locate Scott. However, at this time, the remains have not been positively identified as hers.

Police had previously searched the school grounds and the nearby Awbury Arboretum in Philadelphia’s Germantown neighborhood. While they reported finding some physical evidence during those searches, they have not disclosed specific details about the items recovered.
