**Gurugram: Delivery Boy Arrested for Alleged Kidnapping and Rape of 8-Year-Old Girl**

A delivery boy was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping an 8-year-old girl in Gurugram’s Sector 93, police said on Thursday.

According to authorities, an FIR was registered at the Sector 10 police station based on a complaint lodged on Wednesday regarding the girl’s kidnapping. The child was recovered safely within a few hours.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused, identified as Samad (21), a resident of Sector 83, had lured the girl under the pretext of giving her food before committing the assault.

Following these revelations, the police added Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act to the FIR and subsequently arrested the accused.

A Gurugram police spokesperson stated, “During interrogation, the accused revealed that he works as a delivery boy for a private company. He lured the girl under the pretext of giving food to her and raped her.”

Further investigations are currently underway.
