The composite Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in the Euro Area increased to a 17-month high of 52.20 points in October, up from 51.20 points in September. This rise indicates a steady expansion in overall economic activity across the region.
The manufacturing PMI also showed improvement, climbing to 50 points in October, reaching a 2-month high compared to 49.80 points recorded in September. This suggests a positive momentum in the manufacturing sector alongside growth in services activity.
