Controversial Figure Arthur Hayes Conducted a Major Dump Operation on His Altcoins Today – Here Are the Sales
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, one of the most recognizable figures in the cryptocurrency world, made headlines again today with his on-chain transactions. Hayes’s rapid sale of a large amount of altcoins has attracted significant attention in the market.
According to on-chain data, Hayes reduced his positions by transferring 520 ETH (approximately $1.66 million), 2.624 million ENA (around $730,000), and 132,000 ETHFI (about $120,000) of his holdings to institutional trading platforms such as Flowdesk, FalconX, and Wintermute during the morning hours.
About an hour later, Hayes further reduced his portfolio with a new wave of selling. In this latest sale, he liquidated:
– 260 ETH (~$820,000)
– 2.40 million ENA (~$657,000)
– 640,000 LDO (~$480,000)
– 1,630 AAVE (~$290,000)
– 28,670 UNI (~$211,000)
In total, approximately $2.45 million worth of crypto assets were sold.
Hayes has recently spoken highly of the Zcash (ZEC) altcoin. However, it remains unclear how much ZEC he holds or whether he has sold any of it.
