Despite the resounding win, the Chiefs faced a setback off the field. Wide receiver Xavier Worthy was fined $11,593 by the NFL for “taunting” and “unsportsmanlike conduct” stemming from an incident during the third quarter of the game.

With 10:10 left on the clock in the third quarter, Mahomes completed a 12-yard pass to Worthy, which resulted in a first down and drew a defensive holding penalty on Raiders cornerback Darnay Holmes. Following the play, Worthy celebrated by staring down Holmes, but officials did not flag the action during the game.

Later in the drive, Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco scored a touchdown, extending the team’s lead to 28-0. Although no penalty was called on the field, the NFL reviewed the celebration and decided to impose a fine after the game.

According to the NFL, fines collected go to the Professional Athletes Foundation, which supports former players in need, and to the NFL Foundation, which promotes health, safety, and wellness initiatives across all levels of football, including youth programs and community outreach.

### Raiders Player Also Penalized

The Raiders were not without their own disciplinary action following the game. Isaiah Pola-Mao received a $17,278 fine for “use of the helmet” and “unnecessary roughness” during the matchup.
