However, in a surprising development, the industry is abuzz with reports of a delay for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film, *Love and War*. Reliable sources confirm that *Love and War* will miss its Eid 2026 deadline, thereby avoiding a direct clash with Yash’s *Toxic*.

A trusted insider told Bollywood Hungama, “It’s a blessing in disguise, as it made no sense for two Pan-Indian films to clash on the same date. *Love and War* is running much behind its shooting schedule and will now release in the second half of 2026. Around 75 days of shooting still remain, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has requested Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal to allot bulk dates until Summer 2026 to wrap up the film.”

The insider further revealed that “*Love and War* is running approximately 40 days behind schedule, and the earliest it can now release is in June 2026. Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will take a decision on the film’s release soon and officially announce the delay.”

This delay not only prevents the box office clash between the two Pan-Indian films but also averts any off-screen rivalry between Ranbir Kapoor and Yash ahead of their much-anticipated on-screen encounter in *Ramayana*.
