Boca Raton aiming to lure more Wall Street companies after Mamdani win with $15M ‘Supercar Showcase’
In the wake of Zohran Mamdani’s stunning victory, a glamorous gathering in Boca Raton is set to attract more Wall Street companies to South Florida. The event will feature a “Supercar Showcase” displaying $15 million worth of luxury autos and an awards presentation highlighting the area’s iconic palm tree environment and upscale lifestyle.
Low-tax, warm-weather locales like South Florida have increasingly drawn major firms from the Northeast. Notably, Ken Griffin’s Citadel is now headquartered in Miami. As reported last year, once-sleepy Boca Raton has recently surpassed West Palm Beach in leasing activity. Roughly 40 NYSE- and Nasdaq-listed companies have established their presence in the former Golden Triangle commercial district, now rebranded as Midtown.
Amid ongoing political uncertainty in the Big Apple, “The Wall Street South Experience,” also known as “Meet the Disrupters of Wall Street South,” will take place on December 2nd and 3rd. This exclusive event aims to bring together Wall Street C-suite executives and what the sponsors call “South Florida’s brightest and best to watch in 2026.”
Curated by Gab Group PR founder Michelle Soudry, the program is sponsored by Noble Capital Markets, Inc., in partnership with The Money Channel NYC, Nasdaq, the NYSE, and Bloomberg. Nasdaq will promote the event with an animated presentation on its famous Times Square digital-display tower. Fox News host Bret Baier will deliver the keynote address, accompanied by appearances from three regulars of the TV show “Shark Tank.”
“The time was right and the opportunity was undeniable for Wall Street to finally meet South Florida, now known as Wall Street South,” said Soudry. Executives from 200 New York area-based companies listed on the NYSE and Nasdaq will convene with “powerful South Florida visionaries in finance, tech, crypto, and real estate.”
Manhattan-based companies expected to send delegations include Medallion Financial Co., BCP Investment Corp., and health-care specialists DocGo. The attendee list also features notable figures such as former Florida Panthers owner Cliff Viner, diamond entrepreneur David Rosenberg, and Arizona Ice Tea founder John Ferolito.
The event will culminate with the “Golden Bull” awards presentation, celebrating South Florida’s luxury lifestyle. Honorees include mega-developer Stephen M. Ross, Florida Lt. Governor Jay Collins, and Boca Raton resident Mike Tyson.
This high-profile gathering underscores South Florida’s growing stature as a premier business hub and its appeal as a destination for Wall Street’s elite.
