David “Dave” Lewis Backschies peacefully passed away on October 11, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at The Landhaus at New Melle Lakes, located at 300 Foristell Road, New Melle, MO.
