Rite of the Pollip Quest: Finding All Pollip Hearts in Hollow Knight: Silksong

For the Rite of the Pollip quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you will need to track down all the Pollip Hearts scattered throughout Shellwood. These odd, purple fruits grow in hard-to-reach places and require some platforming skill to collect.

Before you begin, make sure you have progressed far enough through Shellwood and obtained the Cling Grip ability, as it is essential for reaching some of the Pollip Hearts.

How to Identify Pollip Hearts

When you get close to a Pollip Heart, you will notice some purple flowers growing on the walls nearby. Simply hit the large purple fruit with your weapon to make it drop the heart.

Below, you’ll find detailed directions to locate each Pollip Heart in Shellwood:

Pollip Heart #1

From the Bellway, drop down the long chamber and travel all the way across the bottom to the right. Then climb up, making sure to take the branch that leads to the right side to find the first Pollip Heart.

Pollip Heart #2

Drop down from where you found the first Pollip Heart and use the elevator to reach the top of the left side of the chamber. Head across to the right, then use your Cling Grip to climb up the wall and reach the second Pollip Heart.

Pollip Heart #3

Return to the nearby chamber containing the bench. Cling Grip up the right wall until you reach the first tunnel. Enter the tunnel, walk a bit to the right, then drop down and turn left to discover the third Pollip Heart.

Pollip Heart #4

Go back to the room with the bench and climb all the way up and over. Then drop down to the left side and continue through. You will enter a chamber filled with white flowers you can bounce on. Bounce all the way to the top to reach the fourth Pollip Heart.

Pollip Heart #5

From the white flower chamber, head to the left and climb up into the center of the room. Move slightly to the left and drop down to a platform. Then jump and dash left to reach a recessed room where the fifth Pollip Heart is hidden.

Pollip Heart #6

For the final Pollip Heart, make your way all the way to the top of the area. This is much easier now that you have the Cling Grip ability.

Completing the Quest

After collecting all six Pollip Hearts, return to Greyroot and give them the fruits to complete the Rite of the Pollip quest.
