Law propels Glen Ridge to convincing win over Orange – Boys basketball recap
Ryan Law led Glen Ridge with a game-high 15 points as the team cruised to a 61-41 victory over Orange in a SEC divisional matchup on Tuesday in Orange. Law was a dominant force for Glen Ridge (7-5), adding five rebounds, two blocks, and two steals to his impressive scoring performance.
Liam Feder contributed 12 points, while Jacob Javier added 10 points to support the winning effort. Glen Ridge’s balanced attack proved too much for Orange (1-12), which struggled to keep pace throughout the contest.
The win improved Glen Ridge’s divisional record to 4-1 in the SEC Independence Division, placing them just behind the undefeated 4-0 North Star Academy squad.
For Orange, Amadou Traore matched Law’s scoring output with 15 points to lead the offense. David Clemente added eight points, and Nathaneal Gravesande chipped in seven points. However, Orange’s offensive production wasn’t enough to overcome Glen Ridge’s firepower.
Luke Renoff (eight points), Liam Cooney (seven points), and Jayraj Pasricha (five points) rounded out the scoring for Glen Ridge, showcasing the team’s depth in the convincing 20-point victory.
