Congratulations to all viewers for making it through another exciting Awful Games Done Quick block! While the Awful block has wrapped up, Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) continues strong. This year’s AGDQ event is more than halfway complete, with the world’s top speedrunners tackling some of the biggest games from past and present.

As always, they’re playing for charity in front of a global audience on Twitch. For the first time ever, the live stream is also available on YouTube, making it even easier to catch the action. AGDQ 2026 has returned to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where this year’s runners are performing live at the Wyndham Grand, entertaining an enthusiastic in-person crowd.

The event’s chosen charity this year is the Prevent Cancer Foundation. After four days of thrilling runs, the speedrunners have raised over $745,000—an incredible achievement! **6:08 PM – Super Metroid (GT Classic)**
The beloved traditional *Super Metroid* run returns—with a twist. The GT cheat code will give Ryan Ford an edge, pushing Samus through the game faster than ever before.
