Taylor-Britt sustained a foot injury in the Bengals’ 34-12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. “I would say surgery’s likely right now with a Lisfranc injury,” Cincinnati coach Zac Taylor said on Monday, “so obviously that will take him out.” NFL rules require players placed on injured reserve to miss at least four games. The Bengals have seven games remaining on their regular-season schedule. Taylor-Britt could be headed toward free agency in March. He is in the final season of his four-year, $5. 953 million rookie contract as a second-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.
