**Daboo Malik Credits Salman and Sohail Khan for Financial Support During Tough Phase**

Veteran music composer Daboo Malik recently opened up about a challenging phase in his life, revealing how the support of Salman Khan and Sohail Khan proved to be a turning point.

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Malik shared that he experienced a period of intense financial and emotional stress. “When I felt like I couldn’t even speak, my tongue and facial expressions felt paralyzed with internal stress,” he recalled. Despite his struggles, his self-respect prevented him from seeking help. “Not medically, but emotionally, my self-respect stopped me from asking anyone for help even when I couldn’t protect my children. It was a diabolical situation,” he said.

However, things began to change when Sohail Khan, Salim uncle, and Salman Khan came into his life. Daboo Malik highlighted the crucial role Sohail played during this difficult time. “The love and care that Sohail Khan showed me as a person—the way he supported me emotionally, physically, and even financially—was immense. He guided me through everything and told me one line: ‘If you ever face a shortfall in life, don’t worry I am with you. You have the capability to make things happen.’ And that’s exactly what happened.”

### Career Transition: From Acting to Music

Daboo Malik is the son of legendary music director Sardar Malik and brother to singer Anu Malik. Initially, Daboo aspired to be an actor and appeared in films such as *Beta Ho To Aisa*, *Tirangaa*, *Server Sundaram Gari Abbayi*, and *Baazigar*. However, he later shifted his focus to music composition.

His debut as a music composer was with the track “Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai” from the movie *Maine Dil Tujhko Diya*. Following this, he worked on other popular films including *Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge* and *Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam*, establishing himself as a respected name in the industry.
