Beloved Paramount+ TV Show Ending With Season 2
In a sad bit of news for fans, the Paramount+ fan-favorite series *Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* is coming to an end with its second season finale next month.
According to a new report from Jeff Sneider of The InSneider, the 2D animated series, which debuted in August 2024, will conclude after Season 2. Originally, Paramount had ordered 24 additional episodes, which were likely intended to be split into Seasons 3 and 4. In fact, Sneider’s report reveals that Season 3 was partially written, and two episodes had even been sent to animation before the decision was made to cancel the show.
Despite this setback, the studio behind *Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* is reportedly seeking third-party support and licensing opportunities to potentially continue the series in some form.
*Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* serves as a sequel to the 2023 movie and features the return of the film’s vibrant cast. The voice talent includes Micah Abbey (Cousins for Life) as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. (THE CHI) as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Leonardo, Brady Noon (Family Switch) as Raphael, and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as April O’Neil.
The show also boasts notable guest stars, such as Pete Davidson as RoRod, a mutant-loving rich kid, and Alanna Ubach (Ted) as Bishop, a brilliant inventor who views mutants as the greatest threat to humanity.
The series explores the adventures of everyone’s favorite pizza-loving heroes as they emerge from the sewers onto the streets of New York City. Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey face new threats and team up with old allies to navigate the challenges of both teenage life and the villains lurking in the shadows of the Big Apple.
While fans will be disappointed to see the show end early, *Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* leaves behind a vibrant world filled with action, humor, and heart.
