**Justice Vivek Agrawal Emphasizes Professional Ethics in Advocacy at Madhya Pradesh High Court Training Programme**

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Justice Vivek Agrawal of the Madhya Pradesh High Court underscored the importance of professional ethics for lawyers during the valedictory function of a two-day Advocacy Skills Development Training Programme held at the Indore bench on Sunday.

“A good lawyer must always know what to do, how much to do, why to do it, when to do it, and where to do it,” Justice Agrawal said. “Along with skills, professional ethics must always be upheld, as they form the foundation of an advocate’s reputation.”

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva of the Madhya Pradesh High Court and Justice Atul Sreedharan, administrative judge and executive chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (SLSA), Jabalpur. It was jointly hosted by the Madhya Pradesh SLSA and the Indian Institute of Legal and Professional Development (IILPD).

Senior advocates and experts from the Supreme Court led the training sessions. Among the esteemed trainers were Jaydeep Gupta, Priya Hingorani, Aman Hingorani, Rajiv Kumar Virmani, Sandeep Narayan, Vinay Sabharwal, Dilip Mehra, Sarvesh Chaudhary, Jamshed Vay, Reema Bhandari, and Manjulata Gupta.

Young advocates received practical training in courtroom advocacy through interactive sessions conducted in courtroom settings. This hands-on experience enabled participants to develop and refine their advocacy skills effectively.

Additionally, trainers actively collected feedback from the advocates to help further enhance the effectiveness of future training programmes.

The initiative reflects the Madhya Pradesh High Court’s commitment to nurturing competent and ethically responsible lawyers, strengthening the justice delivery system in the state.
