In a perplexing piece of news out of Argentina, numerous large lines that formed a “crop doodle” were recently discovered in a wheat field. According to local news outlet ELONCE, the situation came to light after farmer Raúl Zamer was notified about the strange drawings on the Avellaneda property that he rents.

When Zamer received and watched footage of the lines from the property owner, he was initially suspicious that a motorcyclist had driven around the wheat field. However, his thinking quickly changed after he visited the field and noticed multiple unusual details suggesting something more mysterious.

Zamer pointed out that the affected wheat was “completely shelled” in a way that does not happen if it is simply pressed down by a person or object. The farmer also mentioned that the size and nature of the crop doodle make the motorcyclist theory hard to believe, according to ELONCE.

“It is impossible to run over a stubble of wheat and do something with that perfection,” Zamer told media outlet Cadena 3 Argentina, citing experts he consulted about the crop doodle. Additionally, the confused farmer stated there were no signs of activity from humans or animals that could have caused the odd designs.
