Eagles stars AJ Brown, Saquon Barkley set to play vs. Packers
The Philadelphia Eagles aim to improve to a 7-2 record in Week 10 as they prepare to face the Green Bay Packers. In the lead-up to the game, there were concerns about the availability of star players AJ Brown and Saquon Barkley due to injuries. However, it now appears both players are set to take the field.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Brown and Barkley are good to go for the upcoming “Monday Night Football” matchup. Both athletes were full participants in Saturday’s practice, signaling their readiness.
AJ Brown, the 28-year-old wide receiver, has played in seven of the eight games so far this season. He missed the Week 8 victory over the New York Giants (38-20) due to a hamstring injury. Coming off the Week 9 bye, Brown looks to be healthy and prepared to contribute for Philadelphia. This season, he has recorded 29 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
On the other side, running back Saquon Barkley has been a consistent presence for the Eagles, having not missed a single game this season. The 28-year-old sustained a groin injury in the game against the Giants, which caused him to leave early. Despite that, Barkley is expected to play in Week 10. He enters the contest with 519 rushing yards, 159 receiving yards, and six total touchdowns, including four rushing scores.
This story is still developing, and we will provide more updates as additional information becomes available.
