Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is touted to be the biggest action film in Indian cinema history, boasting a budget of approximately Rs. 350 crores. This figure excludes additional expenses related to print, publicity, and other ancillary costs, as confirmed by reliable sources.

Initially, *King* began as an action thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo role. The project had a modest budget of Rs. 150 crores, but the script’s potential allowed for an expansion to a much grander scale. When Siddharth Anand came onboard as the director, he collaborated closely with Shah Rukh Khan to elevate the film’s vision.

According to the source, “What takes millions of dollars for Western productions to achieve, Siddharth Anand aims to replicate at one-fifth of the cost.” *King* features six extraordinary action sequences crafted with precision. Of these, three have been filmed on real locations, while the remaining three will be shot on elaborate sets.
