Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan played a pivotal role in their Super 4 clash against India in the Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025, held in Dubai on Sunday. Opening alongside Fakhar Zaman, Farhan delivered a crucial half-century that powered Pakistan’s innings.

Farhan and Saim Ayub put together a strong 72-run partnership for the second wicket, providing solid momentum early in the innings. Despite India fighting back with important breakthroughs, including Farhan’s dismissal, Pakistan managed to post a competitive total of 171/5 after being 115/4.

### Leading the Charge Before India’s Fightback

Farhan led the charge early in the innings, as Pakistan reached 91/1 after 10 overs. Showing aggressive intent, he targeted India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who conceded 34 runs in his first three overs. The solid partnership with Saim Ayub helped build Pakistan’s strong position.

However, India fought back with Shivam Dube turning the tide in their favor. Dube dismissed Farhan in the 15th over, pulling things back for India and triggering a mini-collapse.
