Amazon MGM’s ‘Road House 2’ Adds Andrew Bachelor, Iko Uwais & Hidetoshi Nishijima To Cast
**EXCLUSIVE: Three New Cast Members Join Amazon MGM Studios’ Road House 2**
Amazon MGM Studios’ *Road House 2* has added three exciting new cast members: Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor (*Violent Night 2*), Iko Uwais (*The Raid* films), and Hidetoshi Nishijima (*Drive My Car*). Character details for their roles remain under wraps.
This announcement follows Deadline’s recent scoop revealing that six real-life fighters—Rico Verhoeven, Michael Chandler, Michael “Venom” Page, Dustin Poirier, Stephen Thompson, and Tyron Woodley—have joined the fighting-themed action sequel. Jay Hieron will also reprise his role as UFC fighter Jax “Jetway” Harris from the first film.
Plot specifics for *Road House 2*, which sees Jake Gyllenhaal return as UFC fighter-turned-bouncer Dalton, are still under wraps. However, the film is described as a production of greater scope, scale, and ambition, with filming taking place across the U.K., Malta, and Savannah, Georgia.
The sequel follows Amazon’s 2024 reboot of the ’80s classic *Road House*, originally starring Patrick Swayze, which drew an impressive 80 million viewers worldwide in its first eight weeks on Prime Video.
Ilya Naishuller is directing *Road House 2* from a script by Will Beall. Alongside Gyllenhaal, the cast includes Leila George, Aldis Hodge, and Dave Bautista.
Production is led by Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Alex Gartner, alongside Nine Stories Productions’ Jake Gyllenhaal and Josh McLaughlin, who operate under a three-year first-look film deal with Amazon MGM.
