Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, born on April 24, 1973, at 1:00 pm (rectified to 1:01 pm) in Mumbai, is often dubbed the ‘God of Cricket’ in India. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers and batsmen of all time.

According to astrology, Sachin has a Cancer rising ascendant at 17.58 degrees, and his ascendant lord Moon is placed in the 6th house in Sagittarius. He was born on Krishna paksha Saptami tithi, during which the signs Cancer and Sagittarius are considered *dagdha* (burnt). Typically, planets in *dagdha rasis* do not yield satisfactory results. However, since the ascendant is Cancer (a *dagdha* rasi) and its lord Moon is placed in another *dagdha* rasi, this is considered an exception to the rule.

Sachin’s Moon *dasa* lasted from May 1982 to May 1992. He began his cricket career during this period, playing his first Ranji Trophy match on November 14, 1987.

Currently, Sachin is running the Jupiter *dasa* with the Venus *antar dasa*. Venus is placed in the 10th house of status, name, and fame, situated in Aries and occupying its own nakshatra, Bharani. This period—from April 9, 2025, to December 9, 2027—promises significant achievements. Between January and June 2026, Sachin is likely to be accorded a high position by the government, potentially being offered to head the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

During the same Venus *antar dasa*, specifically around October to November 2025, his son, Arjun Tendulkar, is expected to be selected for some matches. Arjun is predicted to perform exceptionally well in international cricket during this time. Overall, the Venus *antar dasa* period will prove extremely beneficial for both father and son.

Following this, the Sun *antar dasa* within Jupiter’s *dasa* will run from December 9, 2027, to September 26, 2028. This period is also expected to be very favorable for Sachin and Arjun. Notably, the Sun is exalted in Sachin’s 10th house and possesses directional strength.

However, the Moon *antar dasa* within Jupiter’s *dasa*, from September 26, 2028, to January 1, 2030, may mark a phase where Sachin steps away from the cricket world. During this period, he should pay attention to his health, as the ascendant lord Moon is placed in the 6th house alongside Rahu, in the *tithi shunya* rasi. Fortunately, given the earlier-mentioned exception, he is unlikely to face any major health concerns. Meanwhile, Arjun is expected to gain significant momentum and come into the limelight.

The Mars *antar dasa* from January 1, 2030, to January 2, 2031, will again be a very positive period for both Sachin and Arjun. Arjun is projected to achieve international fame during this time.

During Rahu’s *antar dasa* within Jupiter’s period, from January 2, 2031, to May 28, 2033, Sachin is expected to remain completely out of the cricketing scene. However, he may receive appointments to important international cricket forums. Despite Sachin’s low profile during this phase, his son Arjun is anticipated to perform exceptionally well.
