The insider added that Markle is taking inspiration from former friend Victoria Beckham, who has been a “huge influence” in her decision to shift her professional focus once again. However, Beckham, 51, emphasized in her new Netflix docuseries that building a design house requires years of hard work, perseverance, and overcoming numerous challenges.

### Keeping Their Work Separate

“Meghan and Harry are keeping their work completely separate,” the insider said. “He’s more than happy for her to pursue her lifestyle projects, and they both prefer that she does it on her own without him.”

This separation extends to Harry staying out of Markle’s efforts to rebrand herself as a lifestyle influencer and fashion icon.

During her October 14 conversation with Fortune, Markle remarked, “It was probably most people’s assumption that if I was going to go into business, it would be fashion or beauty.”
