Following *Cocktail 2*, Shahid Kapoor is set to dive into the second season of his popular OTT show, **Farzi 2**, with a record pay cheque of Rs. 40 crores — the biggest in his career so far.

According to an exclusive update from Bollywood Hungama, Shahid will begin shooting for *Farzi 2* starting January 2026. A source revealed, “*Farzi* is currently in the writing stage, and Amazon Prime along with creators Raj & DK are excited to start the shoot for season two from January 2026. Shahid has allotted six months for the shoot and is receiving a substantial pay cheque.”

The source further added, “Shahid is drawing Rs. 40 crores for *Farzi 2*, making it the highest pay cheque of his acting career so far. This comes in response to the tremendous appreciation received by the first season.”

*Farzi 2* is anticipated to be a marquee project for Amazon Prime towards late 2026 or early 2027. Industry insiders confirm that the second season will be much bigger and grander than the first.
