T-bill rates ease on dovish BSP talk

MANILA, Philippines – The government successfully borrowed its targeted amount of short-term peso debts during Monday’s sale of Treasury bills (T-bills).
The auction results revealed that the Bureau of the Treasury raised ₱22 billion through the offering.
This strong performance was supported by falling rates, which were influenced by dovish signals from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Overall, the T-bill auction attracted robust demand, reflecting investor confidence in the government’s short-term borrowing program.
