Japanese organizers admit that public awareness of the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya “needs to be higher” as they look to ramp up interest. This Friday marks exactly one year until the start of the sporting spectacular.

The upcoming edition follows the pandemic-delayed 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, which featured about 12,000 athletes. It was the biggest Asian Games in history, boasting the highest number of competitors to date.

With the countdown underway, organizers are focused on increasing visibility and engagement to ensure strong support for the Aichi-Nagoya games.
