However, according to India Today, production is unlikely to finish before January 2026 due to the film’s elaborate scale and meticulous attention to detail. This delay may impact the planned release date of March 27, 2026.

### Production Details: An Expanding Scale
A source close to the film’s production revealed, “The scale of *Peddi* has grown far beyond the initial plan. Every schedule has been extended because of the detailing involved—from action choreography to period setting. The team doesn’t want to compromise on authenticity.”

The film is being shot across locations such as Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Rajahmundry, featuring elaborate sets that recreate a coastal town from the 1980s. This dedication to authenticity is one of the reasons for the extended shooting schedule.

### Ram Charan’s Deep Involvement
The source also highlighted Ram Charan’s commitment to the project, stating that he is heavily involved in every aspect of the film. “Even director Buchi Babu Sana is reviewing footage meticulously, discussing the tone, and reworking scenes that do not meet his standards. A production team associate commented, “The delay is not due to disorganization but ambition. When you have someone like Ram Charan, who’s coming off *RRR* and stepping into a completely new zone, you want every frame to look world-class.”

However, this compressed timeline leaves a very slim margin for post-production work, which adds to the challenge of meeting the release deadline.
