**Will Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Miss Its Release Date?**

The shooting of Ram Charan’s highly anticipated sports drama *Peddi* has reportedly encountered delays. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film was initially expected to wrap up by October 2025. However, according to India Today, production is unlikely to be completed before January 2026 due to the movie’s elaborate scale and meticulous attention to detail. This delay could potentially impact the planned release date of March 27, 2026.

**Production Challenges and Scale**

A source close to the production revealed, “The scale of *Peddi* has grown far beyond the initial plan. Every schedule has been extended because of the detailing involved—from action choreography to period settings. The team doesn’t want to compromise on authenticity.”

The film is being shot in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Rajahmundry, with elaborate sets that recreate a coastal town from the 1980s, adding to the complexity and time required.

**Ram Charan’s Involvement**

Ram Charan is deeply involved in every aspect of the movie’s production. The insider shared, “Even Buchi Babu is reviewing footage, discussing the tone, and reworking scenes that don’t meet his standards. Naturally, that takes more time.”

Aside from *Peddi*, Charan has been managing brand endorsements and preparing for his next project with director Sukumar. However, that film’s schedule has been pushed to mid-2026 due to *Peddi*’s delay.

**Release Plans**

Despite these challenges, the makers are still targeting a March 2026 release, aiming to coincide with Ram Charan’s birthday. A member of the production team emphasized that the delay is driven by ambition rather than disorganization: “When you have someone like Ram Charan, who’s coming off *RRR* and stepping into a completely new zone, you want every frame to look world-class.”

Nevertheless, the postponed timeline leaves a very narrow window for post-production work, making the journey to release an ambitious one.

Fans will have to wait a little longer to see Ram Charan’s latest venture, but the extra effort aims to deliver a cinematic experience worth the wait.
