**Aditya Narayan Recalls Paying Income Tax at Age 7, Earned Rs. 3.5 Lakhs for Film Role with Salman Khan**

Singer and television host Aditya Narayan recently opened up about his early career in the entertainment industry, revealing that he started paying income tax as early as seven years old. He also shared details about his earnings, including the Rs. 3.5 lakh he earned for his role in the film *Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai*, which starred Salman Khan.

### Early Start in Showbiz

Aditya began his journey in showbiz as a child actor and playback singer. In a recent appearance on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya’s podcast, he shared anecdotes from his formative years, highlighting the impact that early fame had on both his attitude and financial habits.

### Hosting *Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007*

Aditya talked about his experience hosting the popular singing reality show *Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007*. He revealed that he went through three rounds of auditions before being selected as the host. The show initially paid him Rs. 7,500 per episode, and with two episodes shot in a day, he earned Rs. 15,000 per shoot day.

“I was just 18, living with my father, had no expenses, and suddenly I was spending Rs. 75,000 a month,” he recalled.

Over the course of one season, Aditya hosted around 52 episodes, earning approximately Rs. 8 lakhs in total. He admitted that coming into such a substantial amount of money at a young age led to a change in his attitude. Comedian Bharti Singh humorously remarked that Aditya probably wouldn’t even do a single episode now for that fee, which sparked laughter during the podcast.

In the following season, his pay increased to Rs. 25,000 per episode, prompting him to start thinking seriously about saving money.

### Paying Taxes at Just Seven

Aditya also mentioned, “I paid my first tax when I was seven. I don’t even remember if I had a PAN card, but I definitely remember paying taxes.”

### Biggest Payday as a Child Actor

His highest earning as a child actor came from the film *Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai*, where he worked alongside Salman Khan. The production house Tips paid him Rs. 3.5 lakhs for his role—a significant sum for a child actor at that time.
