There are a lot of currencies in *Hades 2*, and Silver is one of the first you’ll need to farm. This valuable ore is essential for purchasing weapons, upgrading items, and activating certain mechanics. However, unless you know what you’re looking for, finding Silver can be tricky—especially if you don’t have the correct Gathering Tool.

### How to Get Silver

Silver is acquired by using the Crescent Pick on outcroppings found throughout Erebus. You can also earn Silver by completing quests such as *Family in Need*, or from characters like Narcissus. Of all these methods, the most useful way is mining Silver during a run.

You can unlock the Crescent Pick after completing the *Nights Craftwork* incantation at the Cauldron. This Gathering Tool can be purchased from the vendor Schelemeus, who stands beside the training skeleton.

Once you’ve purchased the Crescent Pick, outcroppings will be highlighted during your runs. Simply approach an outcropping and repeatedly tap the Interact button to mine Silver.

### Tips for Finding Silver

Finding more Silver often comes down to luck. Not all stages will contain outcroppings with Silver, so if you spot some, make sure to grab it before moving on—or before your run ends.
